Bob has more than 30 years of experience as an exploration diver, educator, and instructor trainer and is considered by his peers to be one of the top dive professionals in the World.
Bob worked closely with Jarrod Jablonski during the formation of GUE and is a member of the GUE advisory board and the only GUE Instructor Trainer/Instructor Evaluator in the Northeast United States and Canada. He is the founder of the GUE affiliate Northeast Underwater Explorers.
As a member of the Woodville Karst Plain Project (WKPP), Bob was a support diver for Jarrod Jablonski and George Irvine on their world record cave dive of 18,000 feet at a depth of 300 feet. In 1999 Bob was a member of an elite team of divers on the prestigious GUE expedition to the wreck of the HMHS Britannic (sister ship of the Titanic) located in approximately 400 feet of water off the coast of Greece. This project included the first extensive penetration into the wreck.
In 2011, Bob initiated and led a project to document the condition of the wreck of the A. E. Vickery, a popular dive site in the St. Lawrence River. This NEUE project is also supporting the efforts of Project Baseline.
Bob continues to share his passion for exploration, teaching, and community-building with divers from all walks of life, from professional athletes to open water divers, in the United States and abroad. Bob’s reputation as an accomplished dive instructor has resulted in invitations to train divers in Egypt, Italy, Russia, Slovenia, Japan, the Philippines, and Mexico. Students trained by Bob have gone on to become exploration divers, scientific divers, and GUE instructors.

Josh learned to swim when he was 2 years old living in Schofield Barracks, HI, and has spent most of his life in or on the water. Officially certified in 2004, Josh is a NAUI Instructor, Advanced Trimix, Full Cave, and Closed Circuit Rebreather diver.
Josh holds Scuba certifications from 8 different training agencies, is a factory certified equipment service technician, tank inspector, and oxygen service cleaning technician. Josh combines a wealth of life experience with years of exploration, training, and educating to deliver an exciting and safe learning experience that is second to none.
Josh served over 15 years in the Army where he completed multiple combat tours, served as the Senior Instructor at the U.S. Army Air Assault School at Ft Campbell, KY. As a platoon sergeant he trained hundreds of Soldiers in basic Soldier skills including land navigation, marksmanship, reconnaissance, and more.
Josh has served communities he lived in as a volunteer firefighter, EMT, HazMat Tech, and public safety Diver. He is also an avid skydiver with a USPA B license, and is an FAA Senior Parachute Rigger with Back and Seat type ratings.

GUE Fundamentals - Technical Endorsement
JP earned his NAUI Scuba Diver certification in 2018 right here in the beautiful St. Lawrence River. As he began to discover the therapeutic value of the underwater world, he set his sights on the next level of diving and exploration.
In early 2019, JP joined the Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) family and kicked off the year with a GUE Fundamentals class, where he graduated with a Technical Endorsement. He completed over 150 dives in his first 12 months, with bottom times on some dives exceeding 3 hours.
JP has continued his education with NAUI earning Rescue Diver and Training Assistant certifications. He assists Josh during NAUI courses and he is eagerly looking forward to doing GUE Tech 1, Tech 2 and Rebreather courses in the very near future.
JP is the owner of Max Solar INC and Deep Water Concepts (DWC). With his skill in mechanical and electrical applications, he has great passion in solving technical problems with diving equipment by redesigning and inventing new deep water concepts including innovative drysuit heating systems, cylinder mounting, and advanced DPV technologies.
